New Venture Competition 2014 - 1st Announcement for Latin America

The HBS Club of Brazil, in conjunction with Harvard Club of Argentina is pleased to participate in the fifth annual New Venture Competition, joining 15 regional clubs worldwide.
Alumni
from the entire Latin America are invited to apply on the HBS NVC Web
site, and compete in the regional finals for a chance to represent Latin
America in the global HBS finals.
A panel of investors and entrepreneurs from
Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, will evaluate submissions and
presentations and will choose the winning regional entry.
Please note that you do not need to be
running a startup to enter the contest; a good idea and business plan is
all you need to participate.
Regional Latin America winners will receive:
- A chance to reach over 80,000 HBS alumni via the alumni website and up to $75,000 in cash prizes at the global finals;

A direct invitation from HBS Alumni Angels of Brazil, to present his
company for an evaluation for further angel investment;
- A special coaching and advice section from the previous NVC LA regional winners from 2011 to 2013.
This competition is open to all HBS alumni,
including Executive Education and all other alumni status granting
programs. Both for-profit and social enterprises are eligible.
